Jauniešu apmaiņas projekts- ‘’Echoes of Art’’

No 2017.gada 10.marta līdz 18.martam Horvātijā, Nova Gradiškā norisinājās jauniešu apmaiņas projekts ‘’Echoes of Art’’.

Tēmas ir sekojošas;

-Kā mēs te nokļuvām?

-Būt citādākam- ko tas nozīmē jaunietim?

-Kā neiekļaušana ietekmē sabiedrību?

-Kāpēc tolerance ir svarīga?

-Kā mazināt jauniešu vardarbīgu fanātismu pret citiem?

Katra no iepriekš minētajām tēmām izaicināja jaunos fotogrāfus iedziļināties šajos svarīgajos jautājumus un atspoguļot tos mākslinieciskā un abstraktā veidā, izmantojot fotogrāfiju.

Izveidoto foto izstādi ir iespējams apskatīt facebook lapā—-> https://www.facebook.com/EoANG2017/

On 10th of March in Nova Gradiška, Croatia youth exchange project ‘’Echoes of Art’’ was held. 44 young participants from 7 different countries- Spain, Poprtugal, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, Slovenia and Latvia. Latvia was represented by 6 talanted artists- Laura Jaškova, Kintija Kalniņa, Nadīna Lase, Anastasija Ribak, Krišs Bērzkalns un Deivids Seļugins.
Youth exchange “Echoes of Art” aimed towards ensuring inclusive participation of all youngsters within our communities, regardless of the obstacles they encounter, through intercultural exchange and dialogue. During this YE youngsters gained the knowledge on how to express themselves and articulate their viewpoints through photography.
Visual methods introduce us to the world where people can tell their stories through photography; which is a powerful tool in attracting attention and sending messages. Using the methodology of participatory photography as an effective tool for youth engagement, development of skills and social innovation we gave the opportunity to all individuals in the group to tell their own stories and share their personal viewpoints which may affect their visual awareness, social change, the development of creativity, critical thinking and personal growth.
The main aim of the project was to create a photography exhibition planned and organized within the scope of this Youth Exchange is meant to offer a field of expression for the young photography artists. Ranging from multiple fields that affect our society as a whole or in part. Ensuring the proper level of awareness and attention to the issues at hand is achieved.
The exhibition will present photographs made by participants coming from seven different countries in five photo series; each with a specific title to focus on. Through their photographs they were keen to present their chosen topic in an artistic and abstract way, using the knowledge they attained during their working hours, to fulfill their final product to their satisfaction. The groups focused on the following topics;
– How did we get here?
– What does being different mean for youth?
– How does not accepting differences influence the society?
– Why is tolerance important?
– What is the solution for decreasing enhanced bigotry that youngsters express towards others?
Each of the above-mentioned topics was envisioned to challenge the young photographers in delving deeper into our societal issues, searching for a way to properly bring these questions to light through photographic art.
