In October, the girls started the month by celebrating Laure’s birthday with a small party in BaMbuss with local friends and EVS volunteers.
After that, they both got to work with different activities in the organization. They participated in an event in our partner Kanieris Youth Centre, by throwing a workshop with Tell Your Story cards, making contacts with some local youngsters, and giving them the opportunity to write a future letter for themselves with their goals and resolutions for the new year.
Apart from that, Laure finished her French Language course and held a workshop on how to design and create your own mantras, whilst Khristina participated in an Eurodesk event by doing a small workshop in KKC with the help of other fellow EVS volunteers, promoting Erasmus+, European culture, and volunteering opportunities.
As winter is slowly coming, days are getting shorter and our volunteers are preparing for the last months of EVS. They finished the month by having a small meeting with other Panda volunteers and celebrating Halloween, always wondering what the next month will bring.
Project “BaMbuss Volunteers” is financially supported by the European Commission “Erasmus +: Youth in Action”, which is managed by the Youth International Program Agency in Latvia.
