PROJECT STORIES EVENING – EMPOWER DAYS

The primary objective of the “Project Stories Evening” was to present and elucidate the experiences of previous participants in various youth opportunities, both local and international. In the initial segment of the evening, attendees shared insightful narratives pertaining to their involvement in programs such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, elucidating the array of opportunities available locally in Riga and Latvia. This segment fostered an open and conducive environment, facilitating connections amongst the youth while offering a comprehensive understanding of the diverse prospects for personal and professional advancement.

Transitioning into the subsequent portion of the evening, our focus shifted towards a specific project entitled “Lights, Camera, Slow Down.” This particular initiative, spearheaded by conscientious young individuals, involved the creation of a compelling collection of photographs encapsulating emotions and interpersonal relationships with the environment. We also opened the exhibition at our studio, featuring this contemplative collection of images.

A pivotal aspect of the evening was the presence of one of the project leaders, who shared firsthand insights into the intricacies of conceptualizing, organizing, and managing a project with precision. Attendees were afforded the opportunity to glean valuable insights into the challenges encountered, lessons assimilated, and the impact realized by “Lights, Camera, Slow Down.” This segment served as an engaging discourse, providing an understanding of the nuanced art of project creation and management, thereby inspiring those present to contemplate embarking on their own initiatives.

The “Project Stories Evening” functioned as a commemoration of youth-driven initiatives, underscoring the transformative potential inherent in collaboration, creativity, and the act of narrative sharing.
