The theme of our Christmas workshop event was centered around spreading joy, creativity, and giving back to the community. During the festive activity, participants engaged in the art of crafting Christmas postcards while also incorporating a social charity component. The event served as a dissemination platform within the Get the Net project, where we shared the progress, results, and outcomes achieved in the past months.
To set the festive tone and foster a sense of community, we kicked off the event by encouraging participants to get to know each other better. As the creative workshop unfolded, participants crafted Christmas postcards. This hands-on activity allowed them to express their creativity while also incorporating elements of the holiday season. Additionally, there were breaks for informative discussions and collaborative tasks, aligning with the Christmas theme and youth opportunities.
In the spirit of giving, participants engaged in a social charity component. They discussed and generated ideas for events that could contribute to the community, such as delivering the postcards to a social center and spend time playing games with the people living there.
The Christmas workshop event not only provided a platform for creativity and festive spirit but also served as a moment to reflect on the values of community, sharing, and giving. Through the dissemination aspect within the Get the Net project, participants had the opportunity to showcase their efforts and contributions, fostering a sense of accomplishment and unity among the youngsters involved and we could also share the outcomes of our participation within Get the Net with our community.
