We have a new opportunity for all international volunteers. It’s the 2 weeks Volunteer Exchange program.š£š
š² Wait… What??
This program encourages collaboration between volunteers and organizations all over Latvia.
One week you will do your volunteering experience in a different organization. You’ll have to organize at least one workshop and to create a final video/presentation of your experience there. In the other week, you’ll host another volunteer to show and give information about your organization and help them with their workshop.
āBut Why??
To encourage exchange and collaboration on a national level in Latvia. Moving to a different organization for a while and getting to know other ways of work in the volunteering field, as well as meeting people, will allow us to get inspired, to grow, and to learn more!
You will have the chance to cooperate with other volunteers in their organizations and bring part of the things you do in your project also to a different place and different people.
šļø When??
It will start with a Zoom meeting on September 24, where we can get to know each other. After the presentations round, we will do a lottery to assign a volunteer to each organization. Wait to see all the surprises! We will check up on the progress in organizing everything in another Zoom Call on September 30.
The exchange will happen in the second and third weeks of October (5-11 Oct/ 12-18 Oct). One week you’ll have to host one volunteer and in the other week, you’ll move to the organization assigned to you (or vice versa).
The program will end at the end of October in a Closing Party (date and place follow). There, we will present all the videos and share the experiences of all participants. There will be food, nice vibes, and beautiful people!
